Catfishing
Catfishing is the buzz word in 2016 although it has been around for a number of years it is becoming more prevevent.
This is a good blog set up by a popular online educator to help make people aware of the situation and how it is effecting his life and that of others.
I recommend you spend some time reading this http://educationaltechnology.ca/couros/2393

When someone has been catfished, this means that they’ve been duped online they may have given someone online their money or their heart.

We need to be aware of the warning signs to notice a catfisher .
If someone seems to be falling for you and pushing the relationship forward write and say loving things within a short amount of time. You may be being catfished.
Treat these people with suspicion. When confronted with your suspicion the catfish may step it up by saying they will visit you. This visit talk can often used as leverage to keep you interested . They will have an excuse that they are unable to visit. Try to get them to show their face and make sure you are dealing with the person in the photos.
