Commoncraft provides quite a few short animated videos that explain some IT topics quite well. Besides computer type animations they have animations dealing with money and society. You don't have to join them to watch their standard animations. This is a paid service.

Explania is a site with short FREE tutorial type videos. The main ones dealing with computers are technology and software. Note: there are a couple of pages of each, use the page buttons at the bottom of the site. Also that the site videos are rather slow to load so have some patience.
